The Black Forest area encompasses some 200,000 acres of beautiful heavily wooded acres along with some open grassland areas. The north end of Black Forest runs from approximately Highway 83 to Eastonville Road, and then runs along the County Line Road to Woodmen Road, its southern most borders.
The Black Forest of Colorado was founded by a German immigrant who noticed that the dark hue of the beautiful Ponderosa Pines closely resembled the pines of “The Black Forest” in Germany. The Black Forest, Colorado area is host to many of nature’s wildlife habitat that includes many large and small animals such as; deer, elk, antelope, fox, black bear, owl and chipmunks/squirrels. The facility includes four sand volleyball courts, basketball courts for all ages, eight horseshoe pits, a baseball field, catch and release fishing, and a petting zoo. There are eleven churches of different denominations, located throughout the Black Forest area. The Black Forest Community Center is located in the heart of Black Forest near the corner of Shoup and Black Forest Roads which is considered the commercial center of the Forest. Also located in the commercial hub is the Volunteer Fire Station, gas station and country store along with many other specialty shops. Remodeling and Renovations >Show And Sell
Real estate agents are often asked "What is the best way to show and sell a home?" Almost every agent can tell you a story about meeting with a prospective seller who has just completed a lot of work to prepare their home for the market. It can be difficult for a real estate agent to tell the seller that their renovations were not the best changes to effectively market their home.
If you are considering making any improvements prior to selling your home, the best advice is to consult with your agent before you make any changes. An experienced real estate agent can provide you with information that can help you decide what kind of improvements will set the stage for a sale. Whether it is paint and wallpaper, remodeling the bathrooms, or updating the kitchen, your real estate agent can guide you toward "neutral" choices which can assist the buyer's imagination.
